I do love my brand spankin new camera but oh! SO MANY BUTTONS! It’s a hell of an upgrade from my adorable but ageing point-and-shoot camera but I keep telling myself that my grandchildren will even be able to use it ^^;;;;
Great camera. You should be proud. I have a 20D and hope to upgrade to the 40D soon. Can’t wait.
You will want to start lookin at lenses next to do the camera justice. The lens that comes with it, assuming you got the kit, is a decent family and vacation lens but I would visit your nearby camera store and talk to the sales person about a recommended lens.
Thank you so much! And you too!! the 20D is a fantastic camera, I’ve always envied the results it produces. I can’t wait to start snapping.
I got the 40D body only i’ll be using the existing lenses that came with a canon eos 350D =) but will definitely think of getting a macro lens when i can
Thanks!! Its really useful..=) theres so many possibilities on the 40D I cant wait till I’m all familiar with the features and become versatile with photographs

The 40D can take up to 6.5 shots per second, which comes in handy when using hindsight to pick and choose the best pictures.
It also has a live view function, which will make taking pictures almost exactly like using your point and click.
Good luck!

Congrats on the new camera. I love how everyone around me has a better camera than I do and I’m a professional photographer. hahaha
I’m just waiting for a cheaper full frame camera
